HiddenOre

HiddenOre is the server's hidden mining system. Instead of relying on normal visible ore generation, ores are discovered while mining. Ores do not generate naturally unlike vanilla.

When a hidden ore is found, it will transform a nearby Stone or Deepslate block. Some resources, such as Quartz, drop directly as an item instead.

Finding Ores

There are several factors when mining such as Y-Level, the block being mined or the tool and its enchantments being used. The Biome where the mining takes place in is disregarded.

Ores are generally found in the same Y-Levels as in natural generation.

Notifications & Settings

Upon finding an ore, players are notified via an Action bar hint as well as a sound cue.

Mechanics

Cheesing

The plugin recognizes cheesing attempts. Placing and breaking stone or generating stone will not yield ore.

Enchantments

• Fortune increases your chances of finding ores.
• Silk Touch works for finding ores.
