Etymology
Lugnika is the name of the biggest City on the Peninsula, which was founded in the 1 year before the nation's independence. Doesn't have any relevant meaning.
History
First Settlement
It was named after the Plains to the North. Manfeld. This settlement on the River was one of the first in the region. It started as a humble Place with large Fields of wheat. Beyond the River were the Seireijin, a Race with rich culture and high development. Manfeld voluntarily chose to be a subject of the Hayakawa clan.
Dissolvment of Ryosei
Because of disagreements, the Ishikawa and Hayakawa clans brought the Nation almost to a Civil war. After many weeks, the Ishikawa took control of the Capital and banished the Hayakawa to the North of the Peninsula. The Hayakawa proclaimed the Shinsei-ryo, and Sōsuke Ishikawa proclaimed himself Shogun of Ryosei. In the middle of this chaos, Lugnika declared independence and fully mobilized to fend off any invasion from either side, but the 2 sides were too weakened to actually win any conflict against Lugnika. After the Purchase of the Free Company, Lugnika entered a Golden age of Development, diplomacy, and economic growth. Lugnika signed a non-interventionpact with both Shinsei-ryo and the Shogunate.
