The Empire of Albion is a Crown-Trade Ecocracy founded in the south of the western continent, laying on the eastern coast of the Macabre Plains. After its’ leader, Natzu Arashi, departed from his citizenship in Goryosei he was set to find the Matsukaze on these new lands. Being one of the first settlements in this region, Albion looks forward to expanding into the plains and establishing trade-posts, and developing roads to grant easier access for his upcoming allies. Offering gifts, and welcoming guests, Albion is a neutral nation, far isolated to feel the pressures of the north, while the Matsukaze whispers the secrets of foreign lands.
Etymology
Albion’s name comes from the white, snowy color of the Kaze people. Their settlements are named after notable features of its regions.
Settlements
Wraithmarsh
Albion’s first settlement, Wraithmarsh, is named after the swampy, eerie lands where the first structural developments are being formed. Deep in the muggy water, and mossy trees, lies the new home of the Kaze, supported by nearby villages that have come under Albion’s rule. Wraithmarsh is a home for any who seek to step away from the daunting life of civility in the north, providing a distant safe haven for those rendered with war weariness, or social pressure of rising nations.
Geography
Albion grows in the Macabre Plains, a region heavily dominated by the southern Savannah, many underdeveloped villages rest here in these plains, growing gradually through common trade and farming. The region is sanctioned by a river wall that descends from the northern coastline and flows past the Albion Gulf.

Matsukaze
Transcripts of the Kaze, first of the written understandings and teachings of the Matsukaze:
The wind sings in the air, through the leaves, "Hyū... Hyû...". Our people called this Matsukaze, when we would gather in the winds. Not one stood next to another; in this allocation we ensured the breeze would not be obstructed, but driven through the soul. The world may breathe, sigh, dance, or scream, these signs are heard in the chimes, bells, and gusts. We were the Kaze, wanderers who survived through embracing the breath of the world, where it sang, we followed. My grandfather had been the elder of our itinerant, but there was many before him; the elder was called the Ochuia, the wisest, calmest. He had been weathered by many nights listening to Matsukaze. My father was born deaf, and had been lost to the song, his purpose had only been driven to succeed the age of the Kaze, and he had succeeded so his soul had been relinquished by the song.
In my youth, the songs became eerie, they attacked each other, and the Kaze became mad from the cacophony of the Matsukaze. Many were said to have heard and followed the song while the Moon sat at its peak, disappearing in the darkness; Many had said there was no song, only dissonance, echoes of pain. The following seasons we did not grow, the age of Kaze was fading like the song. This winter was harsh, Kaze were dropping quickly, not that there was many of us anymore; The Elders no longer gathered for Matsukaze, none were willing to freeze further. They were losing their way, nature had triumphed over, and none had been succeeded for years... except that they named the Storm of Summer.
Natzu Arashi welcomes any lost Kaze in this new developing world.
